“The transition into adulthood is not about having everything figured out. It is about learning who you are, what matters to you, and how to navigate the world with confidence.”

Young Adult Therapy

Young adulthood can be an exciting time, but it can also bring uncertainty, pressure, and major life decisions. Many young adults find themselves feeling overwhelmed while trying to balance expectations, responsibilities, relationships, education, work, and the question of what comes next. You don’t have to figure out adulthood all on your own. While society often places pressure on young people to have everything planned out, the reality is that becoming an adult is a process. It is common to feel stuck, unsure of yourself, or like you are falling behind when you are actually learning, growing, and discovering your own path. I support young adults as they navigate the many transitions that come with this stage of life, including college decisions, career exploration, relationships, independence, self-confidence, and learning how to advocate for themselves. Therapy can be a space to better understand yourself, manage stress and emotions, build resilience, and develop the skills needed to move forward with confidence. Together, we can explore what may be holding you back, identify your strengths, and create practical strategies that support the life you want to build. My approach focuses not only on emotional wellness, but also on helping young adults develop confidence in making decisions, accessing resources, solving problems, and navigating real-world responsibilities. As a therapist and a mother who has supported children through different stages of development, including the transition into adulthood, I understand that growing up is a process filled with both challenges and opportunities. I recognize the pressures young people face today and the importance of having a supportive space where they can feel understood, respected, and encouraged to find their own path. My goal is to provide a compassionate and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself while gaining the tools, confidence, and skills needed to navigate adulthood.
